see, i'm updating!! alright, won the third prelims by a unanimous decision against hougang. yujeen's daddy and cousin were amongst the very pathetically few supporters we had. so sweet of him to come all the way down from KL just to watch his kid compete! i'm jealous of such dads, knowing mine doesnt exist. well, life goes on! :D i felt bad though, being titled best speaker knowing i didnt deserve it AT ALL! could tell christel, my coach, was disappointed with my amateur speech. dionne was the most consistent and i was dead sure she was gonna be best speaker, like we planned! apologised to her after that debate and she was nice enough to tell me its okay. thanks dionne! you rock and i mean it. :) as if i wasn't disappointed enough doing badly for my speech, we came in 5th of all the C div schools that qualified for quarter finals. damn it! i wanted US to rank first, so badly. SIGH. after the announcement of results, we whined our way to junction 8. LOL all of us were exhausted and BROKE, so, the God-sent angel(ms phua) came to our rescue by paying for our cab fares! shared a cab with anna, siowmay and yujeen. dropped anna and siowmay off at compassvale road somewhere in sengkang before yujeen and i cabbed to punggol where he was supposed to take a train to his dad's hotel in farrer park! you guessed it, the last train left and we whined until he got a cab! frankly, we were extremely childish but hey, whining did help me lighten up a little! alright, lets come back to reality. we'll be facing off with global indian international queenstown campus this friday to vy for a spot in semis. although the debate would be on homeground, we can't slack a damn bit! COMPLACENCY IS A SILENT MURDERER! wish us luck! you bet we're expecting an overwhelming number of supporters! okayyyyy got to go, love ya'll! :) xoxo

bonjour! im really ecstatic that we won pasir ris sec in our 2nd prelim for the national debating championships! i got best speaker for that round as much as i didnt see it coming. i honestly thought that it would have gone yujeen. he was eloquent carried his speech off with STYLE! dionne did an exceptionally good job considering she was a first-time rebuttal speaker. still, pasir ris sec were a lot of nice people and undoubtedly strong adversaries. i take my hat off them, really. :) i would also like to take this blogging opportunity to thank all the supporters(friends&family). indeed, they did give us that extra incentive to do better. not forgetting my AWESOME coach, she is, and will be the best thing that has ever happened in nanchiau's debate history and of course, my debate teacher in-charge, ms phua. she rocks!! :D well, having said all of that, our 3rd prelims aint gonna be easy. we're up against hougang sec on the motion that reads: THBT all forms of art should not be subjected to censorship. we're prop. i really hope we make it all the way this year, as yujeen would say; its our final chance at glory! i guess thats all the time i can afford to blog for now. i love my team to death!! xoxo

i'm taking advantage of another illegal chance to blog, AGAIN!! LOL life hasnt been too good for me, really. especially academic wise. i failed everything other than english, maths and combined humanities. guess i have to have a better and more optimistic working attitude?! hmm, i wonder. oh, i'm currently invovled in the very recent national debating championships. we've won the first round against westwood sec by a unanimous decision. yujeen got best speaker, as expected. he did an exceptionally good job! :) the second round is on the coming friday and i thank God for all the supporters. the motion is a THE killer though, and it pissed yujeen off!! wow, i never want to ever EVER see him pissed again. or hear him, for that matter. we were on the phone for about 4 hours? i dont know. apart from just discussing, we talked ALOT as always. :) apparently every conversation i have with him has never been short. i'm glad we're friends and can relate when it comes to some STUFF! dont guess. we just have hearty chats! :D i've given up my dog, prada, since. it was really a heartbreak although she was a mess. i have to admit, the energy that once existed in my home left with prada. my current pooch, possesses a gentler and sweeter nature. alright, thats all i have time for now! i'll blog again soon, i hope!

Hi! my name is Cornelius Kennedy and i am 17 years of age this year. my birthday falls on the 13th of october and will be expecting presents and all of your attention. i am a christian and was baptised on the 5th of august along with some of my church members, from world revival prayer fellowship! :) currently, i am a secondary 5 student studying in nanchiau high school in the normal academic stream, class 5B and i am loving it. every one of my classmates' great! my cca, being english debates is also another reason why i love going to school. everyone from debate just makes my day and they're great great companions and friends. i love them and they know it. i used to be the team captain of my school's debating team but had to step down in order for me to focus on preparations for the upcoming major national exams . being plus-sized, i am not always accepted by everyone but i have learnt to live with it. thats life. personally, i love animals, culinary work and i am obsessed with fashion and alcohol. they make me happy! :D don forget to leave me a tag message before you leave! thanks and i love ya'll!
